Għat-tielet sena, il-kunċert Ħoss il-Malti se jkun qed jagħlaq l-attivitajiet ta’ Festalingwi, din id-darba bis-sehem tal-Brikkuni u Cher Camilleri.
L-għan ta’ Ħoss il-Malti huwa li jqarreb lill-pubbliku lejn l-ilsien Malti permezz tal-mużika bil-Malti, u ż-żewġ artisti magħżula f’dan il-programm dan jagħmluh sew.
Il-grupp Brikkuni, immexxi minn Mario Vella, huwa wieħed mill-esponenti ewlenin tal-mużika bl-ilsien Malti, u, b’diskografija mifruxa fuq kważi żewġ deċennji, witta t-triq għal bosta artisti oħra li għażlu l-Malti bħala l-lingwa ewlenija tal-mużika tagħhom.
Cher Camilleri hija kantawtriċi li diġà ħalliet il-marka tagħha fuq il-mużika pop Maltija bis-saħħa tal-album Semgħat id-Daqq (2022) u l-EP Naddatta (2024), li jżewġu ħsejjes sintesizzati mal-kant bil-Malti.

For the third year running, the Ħoss il-Malti concert will be closing off Festalingwi, this time featuring Brikkuni and Cher Camilleri.
The aim of Ħoss il-Malti is to bring people closer to the Maltese language through music, and the two acts featured this year do this in spades.
Brikkuni, led by songwriter and singer Mario Vella, are one of the main stalwarts of Maltese-language music, and with a discography ranging over almost two decades, have paved the way for many other acts to use the Maltese language in a wider range of styles.
Cher Camilleri is a singer-songwriter who has already left her mark on Maltese pop music with the album Semgħat id-Daqq (2022) and the EP Naddatta, marrying electronic sounds together with singing in the Maltese language.

This concert is just a part of the Festalingwi programme, a one-day festival marking the European Day of Languages. Festalingwi is organised by the Directorate-General for Translation’s office in Malta, in partnership with the University of Malta, and with the support of the European Commission Representation in Malta, together with the contribution of various language bodies involved in the event.
